Conditions are becoming favorable for the further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into more parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and some parts of Chhattisgarh around June 23.

The seasonal trough at mean sea level is extending from Punjab to Bihar across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

A Western Disturbance is seen as a trough at 5.8 km above mean sea level along Longitude 72°E to the north of Latitude 32°N.

A cyclonic circulation is persisting over South Haryana and adjoining areas, extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Another cyclonic circulation is over Northwest Uttar Pradesh at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
